𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑻𝒖𝒑𝒊 for being awarded as the 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. The Lupon received a cash prize of 𝗣𝗵𝗽 𝟰𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬.𝟬𝟬 courtesy of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato. A Plaque of Recognition was likewise awarded to MLGOO of Tupi LGOO V Juanito B. Agullana for his invaluable contributions and technical assistance, which paved the way for the Barangay in achieving this another milestone.

 

Other outstanding Lupons also received the following awards:

2nd Place- Brgy. Poblacion, Polomolok receiving a cash prize of P30,000.00;

3rd Placer- Brgy. Poblacion, Tampakan garnering a cash prize of P20,000.00;

4th Placer- Brgy. Dajay, Surallah with a cash prize of P10,000.00.

 

Consolation prizes to non-winning Barangays with a cash prize of 5,000 each were also given to Brgy. Tinago, Norala; Brgy. Teresita, Sto. Nino; Brgy. Reyes, Banga; Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan; Brgy. Concepcion, Koronadal City; Brgy. Poblacion, Lake Sebu; and Brgy. Poblacion, Tboli.

 

The Awarding Ceremony took place at South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center, Koronadal City, during the Provincial Liga Day and Awarding Ceremony of the SGLGB-Angat Awards 2024 on November 14, 2024. The Punong Barangays received their plaques and cash incentives for the awards. Recognition is also in order for the program implementers, the Provincial Awards Committee composed of representatives from the Provincial Legal Office-Atty. Leah May Orencio, RTC-Alice D. Espinosa, DOJ-Andelyn D. Triste, GSP Engineer. Russel R. Fin, and DILG-Belinda Lee A. Fabie for their sharing their expertise with the barangays and for their valuable time spent during the assessment.

 

The said achievements reflect the dedication and outstanding performance of the barangays in promoting peace and resolving grassroots disputes through the Katarungang Pambarangay System.
